Wallora Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 7, 2026

Version: 1.0.0

[IMPORTANT NOTICE] We understand the importance of your personal information and will take appropriate security measures as required by law. Please read and understand this Policy before using Wallora (the “App”), provided by Chengdu Mengsuyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, and the rights you have. If you do not agree to this Policy, please stop using the App immediately. By using the App, you are deemed to have read and agreed to this Policy. This Policy should be read together with the Wallora Terms of Service.

Article 1 Introduction

1.1 The App is a tool for browsing and setting wallpapers. It does not require registration or sign-in, and does not ask you to provide identity information such as your name, mobile number, or ID number.

1.2 Information processed by the App consists mainly of usage data stored on the device and network requests necessary to load wallpaper content.

1.3 This Policy applies to services provided on iOS and Android by version 1.0.0 of the App and subsequent versions.

Article 2 Information We Process

2.1 Depending on the feature, the App may process the following information. Except for feedback you submit, the information below is stored on your device by default, or is used only to complete the relevant network request.

2.2 On-device usage data includes:

(a) the favorites list, namely identifiers of wallpapers you favorite, used for “My favorites”;

(b) viewing history, namely identifiers of wallpapers you have viewed (subject to a quantity limit), used for “History,” which you may clear in the App;

(c) download tasks, namely queue status, progress, and local paths of completed files, used for download management;

(d) language preference, namely the interface language you choose or the “Follow system” setting;

(e) cache files, namely covers, previews, and temporary transcoded files cached to speed up browsing. You may clear the image cache in Settings → Clear cache. Uninstalling the App will remove data in the app sandbox.

2.3 Technical information in network access. When you load the wallpaper catalog, covers, previews, high-resolution images, or videos, your device sends network requests to content servers. Those requests may include your IP address and ordinary network headers supplied by the device and system. We use that information to return wallpaper configuration and media files, not to build a profile that identifies you.

2.4 Album content you actively select. The App reads a video from Photos only when you use “Create live wallpaper” and tap a specific video. It then clips the video locally (up to about three seconds) and generates a Live Photo. We will not upload your album videos for public display, and we will not browse your entire library without authorization.

2.5 Feedback. You may enter text in Feedback. If you submit feedback, the content will be used to improve the product and troubleshoot issues. Please do not include passwords, precise addresses, ID numbers, or other sensitive personal information in feedback.

2.6 We do not actively collect:

(a) user accounts, mobile numbers, email addresses, or social accounts, except what you yourself send to a third party through the system share sheet;

(b) analytics data for advertising tracking or user profiling (subject to the SDKs actually integrated in this version);

(c) contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, calendar, or other information unrelated to wallpaper features.

Article 3 Device Permissions

3.1 Permissions are requested by the operating system when the corresponding feature is used. You may turn them off at any time in system settings. After you turn a permission off, only that feature becomes unavailable; other features are unaffected.

3.2 Permissions the App may request, and their purposes, are as follows:

(a) Network access. Used to fetch the wallpaper catalog, covers, videos, and high-resolution assets, and to complete downloads and online preview. If turned off, wallpaper content cannot be loaded or updated, and downloads may fail.

(b) Photo library read (iOS) or read video/storage (Android). Used to pick a video you specify when creating a live wallpaper. If turned off, you cannot pick a video from Photos; browsing online wallpapers is unaffected.

(c) Add photos to the library (iOS) or write storage (older Android versions). Used to save still wallpapers, motion wallpapers, or created Live Photos to the system photo library so you can set them on the lock screen or home screen. If turned off, saving to Photos is unavailable.

(d) Set wallpaper (Android). Used to set a wallpaper on the home screen, lock screen, or both, as you choose. If turned off, one-tap system wallpaper setting is unavailable; you may still download or preview.

Article 4 Purposes and Use

4.1 We process information for the following purposes:

(a) to show you featured, category, search, and 4D or motion wallpapers;

(b) to complete download, preview, clipping, transcoding, saving to Photos, and setting as wallpaper;

(c) to remember favorites, history, downloads, and language settings on the device;

(d) to handle feedback you submit and to improve stability and content;

(e) to comply with legal obligations and to respond to security incidents or rights notices.

4.2 We do not sell your personal information.

Article 5 Storage Location and Retention

5.1 Favorites, history, download tasks, and language preference are stored in app preferences or the sandbox on your device. Downloaded files and temporary videos are stored in directories the App can access. Content saved to the system photo library is managed by the operating system.

5.2 Local data is deleted when you uninstall the App, clear app data, or clear history or cache in the App, except wallpapers already written to the system photo library.

5.3 If network request logs exist on the server side, they are retained only for the shortest period necessary for transmission and security.

Article 6 Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure

6.1 We do not share with third parties personal information that can identify you, except:

(a) as necessary to provide the features. Requesting public wallpaper resources from configuration and content-delivery servers; invoking the operating system’s Photos, wallpaper, and share capabilities. The target app you choose in the system share sheet receives the title and link you actively share;

(b) as required by laws and regulations, litigation, arbitration, or a mandatory request of a competent government authority;

(c) as necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm to users or public safety.

6.2 If a merger, division, dissolution, or similar event involves a transfer of personal information, we will require the successor to remain bound by this Policy, or we will obtain your consent again.

Article 7 Third-Party Services and SDKs

7.1 The App is built with Flutter and mainly uses open-source components for networking, image caching, local storage, picking from Photos, video playback, and writing to the photo library. Those components run on the device and access only what is needed for the corresponding feature.

7.2 Wallpaper media files are hosted at content-service addresses and are transferred using encryption. Operating-system vendors handle permission dialogs, Photos, and wallpaper setting under their own privacy rules. Please also read the privacy information for the system you use.

Article 8 Cross-Border Transfer

8.1 Wallpaper content may be stored on servers outside your jurisdiction. When you browse and download, related requests may be transferred across borders. We will take reasonable measures to protect the security of the transfer.

8.2 If we later introduce cross-border processing that must be separately disclosed by law, we will update this Policy and obtain your consent where required.

Article 9 Protection of Minors

9.1 The App provides wallpaper services to general users and is not directed at children under fourteen years of age.

9.2 If you are a minor, please use the App under the guidance of a guardian and do not submit personal identity information.

9.3 If a guardian finds that a minor is using the App without consent, the guardian may contact us through Feedback or by email at mengsuyuan@mengsuyuan.site. We will help stop the use and delete identifiable feedback content.

Article 10 Your Rights

10.1 To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may:

(a) access and manage. View or adjust related local data in Favorites, History, Downloads, and Settings;

(b) delete. Clear history, unfavorite, remove download tasks, clear cache, or clear the App’s data or uninstall it in system settings;

(c) withdraw consent. Turn off Photos, storage, network, or other permissions in system settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out based on your consent;

(d) stop accumulating local records. After you clear history and favorites, the device will no longer keep those records.

10.2 Because the App has no account system, we generally cannot associate a wallpaper viewing record on the server with a particular natural person. If you believe we have processed your personal information, you may exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, or explanation through Feedback or by email at mengsuyuan@mengsuyuan.site. We will handle the request in accordance with law after verification.

Article 11 Information Security

11.1 We take reasonably practicable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transmission of wallpaper configuration and assets, keeping album-video processing on the device, and requesting only the minimum permissions.

11.2 Please understand that no network or storage system is absolutely secure. Please keep your device lock credentials safe, and avoid using the App on jailbroken, rooted, or untrusted devices.

Article 12 Updates to This Policy

12.1 We may revise this Policy for business, technical, or legal reasons. The updated Policy will be published in the App or on the relevant page, and the effective date will be updated.

12.2 If a change materially affects the purposes of processing, the types of personal information processed, or the manner of processing, we will notify you by an in-app prompt or other reasonable means.

12.3 Your continued use of the App means you accept the updated Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using and uninstall the App.

Article 13 Contact Us

13.1 If you have questions, complaints, or suggestions about this Policy or our processing of personal information, please contact us through Me → Feedback in the App, or by email at mengsuyuan@mengsuyuan.site. We will reply within a reasonable time after verification.
